HISTORY
The factory was founded by František Ringhoff st. in the 1960s. Equipment for the sugar and brewing industries, wagons, were manufactured here. In 1914, the company Spojené strojírny, as, formerly Ruston, Bromovský and Ringhoffer, Prague, was established by merging.
In 1919, the Škoda plants transformed arms production into peaceful production, and a group began to form. The main part of peace production was concentrated by Škoda at the beginning of the World War in Spojené strojírny (the official name was Spojené strojírny, as formerly Škoda, Ruston, Bromvský and Ringhoffer, Prague), which were companies whose majority majority owned. After the war, the United Engineering Works was incorporated into the emerging group.
